Fisher Price Intellitainer Review

For the first few months of life, the sound of your voice and the different contortions that your face makes while playing with baby is really all the little tyke needs for entertainment. But then they get a little bit older and at around four months of age, they need something more to keep their mind working, their hands busy, and their little heart filled with amusement. When it was time for me to find something a little more playful for my daughter, I went and looked at exersaucers.
These are wonderful devices for babies and parents alike. They provide baby with much entertainment and amusement and they allow parents a few minutes to get things done while baby is safe and happy at play. There are lots out there on the market so it took me awhile to decide which would be best. I finally decided on the Fisher Price Intellitainer. And I’m glad I did.
This wonderful activity center is divided into three different sections. It has two sides and a back and every section has different toys, targeted for different areas of development. The back of the Intellitainer is shaped like an arch and from the arch hang different rattles, spinners, and other basic types of toys that provide a lot of fun for those babies that need a little something more but aren’t quite appreciative yet of loud, blinking, and talking toys.
One side of the Intellitainer has the same types of toys but they are just slightly more advanced. This features a rattle that is held down but bobs back and forth as baby plays. There are also cogs, which baby will find fascinating as she sees that when her hand touches them, they turn – magic! Sitting above the cogs is a mirror so baby can spend hours staring and playing at her own reflection.
The last section is for the older baby. This side of the Intellitainer has a book that when you flip the pages, it tells a nursery rhyme either through narration or song. It also has bright “A”, “B”, and “C” buttons that will play a tune when they are pressed. There are other little techno gadgets on this side that baby will love to play with!
Some great extras of the Intellitainer are the bright colours, the adjustable seat, and the fact that the seat swivels and moves back and forth to promote walking.
