Product Review: First Years Single Breast Pump

Deciding whether or not to breastfeed your child may not seem like a hard decision because we all know that breast is best for baby. But that decision becomes more difficult when a parent and baby find out together that breastfeeding is not the easiest thing in the world. For those moms who have decided to stick it out and keep on with the breastfeeding, there comes another very hard decision: which breast pump to use?

There is a plethora of different breast pump options on the market. It can be quite baffling to a new mom. When my daughter refused to latch on, my only choice if I wanted her to have breast milk was to pump. I decided that’s the way I would go and I chose the First Years Single Breast Pump. It turned out to be a very good decision for me.

The First Years Single Breast Pump is an electric pump, which gives mom the freedom to read a book, play with baby, or watch television while pumping with very little distraction. It is very comfortable, with different adjustments for the suction. The pump also comes with many different accessories that make it very handy. These accessories are: one attachment with ounces clearly marked that fits right onto the mechanism while pumping, one storage container, the pump is fitted with a valve and there are extra valves included, a comfortable cup to fit over the breast, and the pump, which has different speeds and pressures. The pump also comes with two nursing pads, a freezer bag, an adapter to plug it in, and a convenient case to carry it all in!

Because it is a single breast pump, it might take a little longer to get all the breast milk from both sides and the pump is a little bit louder than I thought it would be. Those are really the only two negative things that can be said about this pump. It does the job very efficiently and all parts can be removed, washed, and sterilized. This makes it very easy for a new mom to make sure that she is giving her baby milk from a machine that is entirely clean and sterile.

I have a First Years breast pump. I am contacting you as the stores no longer take them back because you as a company now have something in place. Please let me know what and how this transaction will proceed

Thank you in advance
Debbie
