Product Review: Original Jolly Jumper
Somewhere between six and nine months of age, baby becomes more active and parents continually search for things that will keep their baby active and happy. The Original Jolly Jumper is great for this exact thing. The Original Jolly Jumper allows your baby to stand in a supported jumper while they kick with their feet and bounce happily up and down.
I thought the Original Jolly Jumper sounded like a great idea but was a little hesitant when I took it out of the box and stared at something that looked like some sort of torture chamber. There were chains and hooks and a seat that I didn’t think looked very comfortable to anyone. The truth is, my concerns were of course, unfounded because my daughter loved the Jolly Jumper! The seat forms to her body and goes almost completely up her entire chest and back. The seat that I looked so terrible was actually supporting my daughter before she could support herself entirely on her own!
My other concern was that I didn’t think the hook that comes with the item would be secure enough hanging on a door frame. There was no reason for me to worry in this instance either. The hook is definitely secure enough and every time I pulled on it quite sharply before placing my baby in the seat, it never budged.
My daughter also loved the fact that she was in control of her own movements and not only did she use the Jolly Jumper for bouncing but she also loved being able to turn the entire seat around to give her a different view. Jolly Jumper has now come out with a mat that can be placed at the child’s feet so that every movement brings them different sounds and music. Buy the Original Jolly Jumper or the Jolly Jumper that comes with a stand and your baby is sure to thank you with giggles and grins!
