Electric Fans Can Prevent SIDS

As a parent, the last thing you would want to be is tactless when it comes to making sure that your child is free from harm. SIDS or Sudden Infant Death Syndrome has to be the worst case you would ever have to deal with considering that losing a baby at such a precarious age is hard to accept.

This has been an issue that has been growing in numbers in Canada and the United States. The first thing that they would advise is to leave your child sleeping in their cribs with right shaped pillows to avoid suffocation, a main protagonist that is associated with SIDS.

Ventilation is one issue about it all and logically, you can just use the usual electric fan and face it toward the direction of your child with no obstructions of course. The need to also check on them time to time persists since air intake is only one factor you have to consider against SIDS.

New research found that using the fan to improve air circulation and reduce the temperature around a baby could reduce the risk of the condition by up to 94 per cent.
