Oobleck is a mixture of cornstarch and water.

Here’s a fun as can be (even if it’s a little bit messy, hey that’s one of the reasons it’s fun!) to do with your child.

“Goop
For 1 child:
1/2 cup corn starch
1/4 cup water
small bowl, tin pie plate, etc.
cookie sheet / pizza pan / or a plastic container
extra water
Food coloring (if desired)

Add the water to the corn starch in your container of choice.

Mix it together using your hands.  (If you need to add more water, add just a couple of drops.)

This is completely safe.  Unless your child has an allergy (check the ingredients).  Your little one will love to play with this, for an added bonus, let them mix it up with their hands.

Best of all, this will come right off clothing (if there isn’t any food coloring, if there is have them put on some old play clothes!).
