Divine Inpiration For Seraphina Affleck?

Ben With Daughter Violet

According to the experts Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner looked

towards some divine inspiration for their newest arrival’s name. Seraphina Affleck’s divinely inspired moniker comes from the biblical word ’seraphim’ meaning ‘fiery ones’ according to one expert on baby names:

Expert: Jennifer Moss, author of “The One-in-a-Million Baby Name Book” and founder of BabyNames.com.
Speciality: Practicality, looking for influences such as family history and life experiences.

Impressions: “Seraphina is a beautiful name — based on the Seraphim, the highest order of angels. I’m not a fan of the double-middle name, but it’s nice they continued the ‘flower’ theme by including the name Rose. The only thing that may be a little cumbersome is saying her first and last name together. In the BabyNames.com introduction test, the parents should say just the first and last name aloud: ‘Hello, my name is Seraphina Affleck.”’

The couple haven’t confirmed any reason behind the heavenly name, the bloggers and columnists are abuzz with reasons they may have picked this unusual name. ( This bit of tantalizing mystery adding into it.)

In medieval Christian neo-Platonic theology, the Seraphim belong to the highest order, or angelic choir, of the hierarchy of angels. They are said to be the caretakers of God’s throne, continuously singing Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh, i. e. “holy, holy, holy”—cf. “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of Hosts, the whole earth is full of His Glory” (Isaiah 6:3). This chanting is referred to as the Trisagion.
