Should Kids be Able to Vote For Chris Brown?
It’s the kind of tale meant for Lifetime, for some made for tv cautionary tale. Yet, this one is sadly real. With all the attention surrounding the Chris Brown assault charges, and the press reporting every new detail with the couple (especially now that Rhianna has taken Brown back) it’s a regrettable situation for anyone to be dealing with.
Brown has lost many endorsements due to his actions so it’s no small wonder why a decision by kid’s network Nickelodeon has some parents fuming.
Nickelodeon’s kid’s choice awards are the kid’s answer to the (many) film and music industry awards shows. One of the ‘artists’ on the ballot this year? Chris Brown. Nickelodeon is saying that the he was on the ballot before the incident with Rhianna, so he should stay.
Many parent’s however, are seeing this in another light.
After Brown arrest for assault charges, the parent’s aren’t exactly happy with the decision to keep him on the ballot. Understandable yes, but the network execs aren’t budging on the issue.
Should Chris Brown remain on the ballot?
