Mom Kicks Kids Out of Car
My mom dealt with a lot of bickering between my brother and I, our family still jokes how much we are like oil and water. We fought a lot, over everything no where was safe from us. My mom was very understandable at her wits end many times with our fighting, she did threaten us a few times with kicking us out of the car, granted some of those times we thought that was a fantastic idea.
She never did carry the threat through though. Although, it never ceased to stop our arguing for a few minutes while we pondered what fun stuff we could do if she did happen to carry it out.
Most parents have made a few empty threats, or at least maybe remember receiving them when they were kids.
However, one mom in New York did. Her daughters (ages 10 and 12) were fighting between themselves, and she made the threat- but this time she stopped and actually kicked her daughters out of the car. The mom was arrested and is pleading not guilty to child endangerment charges. She is now allowed contact with her daughters.
