Most of the injuries are from slips, falls and other preventable injuries. There’s some incredibly simple and easy things to get into the habit of doing, that could save a life, if more people did them.
*Get a bathmat, the rubberized surface can help kids and adults to keep their footing on the slippery wet surface of the tub. They also make special coatings that can do the same thing.
*Never leave a child under 6 alone in the bathtub.
*Cover the spout in soft foam or similar.
*Keep razors, shampoo, and other grownup bath needs out reach.
*Never leave any appliances (hair driers, electric razors, etc) anywhere near the tub or plugged in.
