We Choose The Moon

WeChooseTheMoon

Who says something educational has to be boring?

NASA is cooperation with a few other big names has put together an amazing website found at WeChooseTheMoon.org that could keep almost anyone entertained for a good while.  It’s an interactive recreation of the moon landing.

The website was put together for the 40 year anniversary of man’s first step on the moon.  It features a bunch of great interactive goodies, where you can recreate the amazing event at your own pace.

If your child is a budding astronomer, or simply enjoys some gaming this is a great way to have fun and learn a the same time.

One of the coolest features is your child can even get their very own certificate saying they’ve completed the ‘mission’. So, it’s adds in a really special bit of more interactivity and personalization.

The website is free, and a fun way to get any kid interested in science.  It’s really easy to learn, I was playing it myself for a good while with my own daughter enjoying the visuals.  Which, admittedly I was as well.  It’s presented with both real videos and images from the event with some amazing computer generated graphics.

It’s all user oriented so it’s incredibly easy and fantastic to use so no fear if you aren’t that computer savvy.
