Babys need a lot of things, some things to keep them healthy and others to keep them happy. Some of the baby items like wipes and diapers can run parents into some serious money in the long run. Others can cost quite a lot up front, like clothing and toys. You can make most of these items yourself and save a serious amount of money. Making it yourself also saves the toll that manufacturing these items costs the Earth and environment.
Make your own baby wipes (from Keetsa): I love this idea. There’s few products you will go through as much as baby wipes. Especially in those first few years. They can run up a bit of money too, so you can stand to save quite a bit by making your own.

Wooden Puzzle Instructions (from Make Baby Stuff): While they have a lot of choices on what to make, I love the feel of this puzzle. It’s really adorable, and looks like an antique. If a kiddo is a bit older, they can also help out with a project (just think age and child appropriate).
