Ick! The Grossest Halloween Candies
With Halloween right around the bend, it would be a fun time to look at it. We’ve already written a bit about cool costumes, and there’s a lot of information out there about the goodies and treats. This article however, doesn’t have much in the way of ‘Yum Factor’ it’s the Grossest Halloween Candy (a list compiled by comedy website Stupid.com)
Not only can you find some tasteless treats, and maybe even some gross gifts listed you can actually get them in a bag to ‘enjoy’ yourself.
Older kids may actually think these are pretty cool, we all know some kids tend to gravitate towards ‘gross things’. Although, I doubt even the bravest kids will be willing to try some of these.
The list includes some disgustingly designs to the overall just yuck:
- Crick-ettes - Crispy, crunchy crickets! Available in Sour Cream & Onion, Salt & Vinegar, and Bacon & Cheese, for the most adventurous.
- Gummy Pet Rats & Tarantulas – These giant, squishy pets even come with directions how to care for them! Made by Jelly Belly, so you know their delicious.
- Zit Poppers – What’s more gross than popping a zit? Popping a candy zit, and then eating it! Bad skin never tasted so good.
- Dog Food For Humans – Show your friends respect by setting out a nice bowl of yummy, crunchy dog food.
- Scorpion Pops – How many licks does it take to get to the center of a scorpion pop? Find out at your own risk.
- Garlic Mints – Those hunky Twilight vampires won’t stand a chance against your breath after a few of these repellents.
- Bacon Gumballs – Blow bubbles of swine.
- Fear Factor Octopus – Fresh from the sea, we dare you to slurp down these slimy pieces of Octo-fun!
- Foam Blaster Candy: Legend has it a combo of antacids and pop-rocks can be explosive.
While some of the things on the list above are just regular candies that come in certain shapes, other are in a league all on their own. For the interest of honesty I do see some rather good ones I’ve had before (the ones from Jelly Belly are quite funny, and yummy to boot).
The scorpion pops are something a bit interesting on their own. A real (no poison, so don’t worry) is in the middle of a lollipop that the brave can lick around. The braver, well… Yuck.
