Zhu Zhu Pets Not Poison: Still Causing People To Lose Their Minds

House decorated for Christmas.

Every Christmas season, there is always that one hot toy that you simply ‘must get’.  It seems that even the recession is no excuse, the fussy little faux pets are causing complete anarchy.

While there are the parents who are lucky (in that, their children are still a bit too young) the not so lucky ones are faced with crowds, overpriced eBay auctions, and cancelled orders.

All for a toy that at best, has a two year outlook for it’s popularity.  At least, if it’s lucky enough to keep popular for that long.  It’s not just the Zhu Zhu pets, it’s more so the yearly ‘hot toy’ that causes people to crowd stores, fight, and all around act like children.

Sure, not every consumer does the things listed above and as usual it’s the more extreme cases that make the evening news and internet fame. Next year it will be a different toy that causes the same reaction.

Unfortunately, along with the popularity comes the price of sometimes dealing with scammers and the astronomically priced ‘hot toys’ on eBay.

Keep in mind that this toy retails at about $20.

Of course, if you really need one Wal-Mart is having a special 3 Day sale on them.
