School Bans Various Dance Moves

The Smoking Gun has a report up about a school trying to avoid hormonal moments between the kids at a school dance, by banning various ‘dance moves’ and more. While admittedly, my own first though was the movie Footloose, the rules really are a bit strange.

This just seems to be a bit overboard though, doesn’t it? While yes, there have been some rather sexual dances before, this all just seems a bit overdone. It’s not the only rules from this particular school dance either, there are more- and they are all similar.
While some of the rules are understandable, other’s just seem more overdone, including the notation about videotaping to catch people in the act, after the dance (upon a review of the tape).
