Split Chores, Get More Sleep?

It seems that while progressive parenting is on the rise, not many homes share the parenting and household chores. Apparently, at least according to a few pieces of recent research, many homes see one parent or the other taking up the entirety of the responsibility.
While most of the time it’s mom who seems to be taking on most of the ‘home’ oriented things, and working, and taking care of the kids. No wonder so many are also reporting a rather serious sleep problem.
Lack of proper sleep c an be the cause for many serious concern and problems. It ranges from being simply ‘scatter brained’ to more severe issues like being a distracted driver. Doctors say that the average adult needs at least 6-8 hours of sleep a night to ward off potential problems.
If you have some form of insomnia, which millions are effected by see your doctor- there may be a lot of help that is not tied to medications. There have been huge strides in helping people with many forms in the last few years.
If, however your problem lies with stress and having far too much to do- enlist your families help. Kids can help out with many different chores, and sometimes simply asking your spouse may get them to help as well.
