9 Year Old Gives Birth In China
This is one of those stories you want to be fake, but it looks to be real. Reportedly, in the northeast region of China, a 9 year old gave birth to a baby boy.
If this is true, it is absolutely stomach turning.
The baby was delivered by cesarean section on Jan 27 and weighed 2.75kg, said the report from news.com.au, quoting an earlier report in the City Evening News newspaper.
The girl’s parents have apparently sought legal help regarding the pregnancy, but the circumstances surrounding the girl’s situation is unknown.

Having sex with a child under 14 is an automatic rape conviction in China, so it stands to reason that if the person who impregnated the young girl is found, he will be charged.
While, it wouldn’t be the first time a story like this was reported and turned out to be false.
Here’s hoping.
