What do you get when you take bright, engaging, creative high school
students and set them in front of a pile of Popsicle sticks; with the
task of building a bridge, you get some amazing results! The Popsicle
Stick Bridge Competition is a FREE event that brings together hundreds
of local high school students to participate in a full day celebration
of math, science and engineering. Sponsored by the American Society of
Civil Engineers’ Younger Member Forums, student groups are challenged to
design and build a Popsicle stick bridge based on a set of guidelines.
