The journey towards making sure that baby Max would be born normally was not easy though. Aguilera and Bratman had scary moments especially when they had to agree to a Caesarean to avoid any complications as far as labor and giving birth is concerned.

We all remember the famous sitcom Doogie Howser M.D. While we all know that such a feat would be impossible for any child to accomplish, there is now a 10 year old child who was able to earn her degree. Yes you read it right; she is just 10 years old.

I myself was shocked at the age she was able to get her degree. Normally people would have to be in their late teens to get one. But the secret was accomplished through an online degree course that made Courtney Oliver, a certified Veterinarian assistant.

It does look like a weird situation but the secret to her success was really more on her thrive towards knowing what she really wanted. The only funny thing is that she needs a guardian to go to work since she is still a minor at 10!

I heard an odd conversation between two 4 yr old kids. Kid 1:My mommy and I will go the mall later because I got stars in my class kid2: I have more stars than you, and my mom said I’m very good so she’ll buy me an expensive toy. You think this kind of conversation is normal with kids? well yes it is, but do you think it’s healthy that our kids nowadays are motivated to do good because they have prizes? what if there were no prizes? do you think they will give their best foot forward?

It’s a big responsibility to motivate your child to study and giving an award is the most effective way to keep them going, BUT.. it’s not the only way. There is always a disadvantage if your kids are motivated with material things. It’s like a  radio that won’t work if it’s not plugged in.Kids should be motivated in the right way and not just by receiving expensive things. Be creative in making them love studying.

1. prepare a beautiful study room where they will  always look forward to go to.  They can even invite their classmates to come over for study bonding time.

2. Set a time for studying. Kids easily get bored when they sit down for more than an hour. Trying meeting half way. They can study for 30 minutes and then have 10 minute break where they can eat snacks or maybe take a power nap. Don’t push her to the limits, because she’ll get bored and pressured at the same time.

3. Go to the library where she can see books for her age. Make her love reading and studying.
