While conventional cotton growers are using harsh chemicals that can speed up their harvest, organic cotton growers are doing it naturally. No short cuts with the use of chemicals. Instead, organic way would mean hiring more laborers to actually do the harvesting.

While the recession is forcing cost cutting remedies in as many ways as there are people.  It seems that even with all the ‘recession friendly’ industries, the one really holding up is baby clothing. Even though mom and dad are cutting corners on their own duds, no expense is spared for the little ones.

The industry centers itself understandably around the excitement around a new arrival’s birth, and in the excitement parents are still willing to shell out money for the best for their baby.  In fact the baby clothing industry as a whole only fell about 1% in the last few years, and with only a 0.09% drop expected for the time being.
