Preventing Bullying: We Are All Involved
With so many horror stories in the news about the tragic events that stem from bullying, many are wondering what else could be done to prevent problems earlier. Bullying can take many forms, and while many school districts are making great progress towards prevention there is still a long way to go.
Digital Abuse Alarmingly Prevalent
While the below almost screams hyperbole, it seems that both digital abuse and ‘sexting’ are shockingly much more prevalent than once thought. The study was triggered by a 13 year old girl who sadly took her own life after sending a sext, suffering harassment, and eventually suspended from school.
